I thought, "Hey, Avon sells tons of stuff that they need over there. Why don't we try to help?" After an afternoon of researching options, I contacted an organization called Operation Shoebox. This organization is pretty cool. They collect all kinds of items and send packages over to specific soldiers who contact them and let them know their needs. Mary from Operation Shoebox contacted me yesterday and said that she had just heard from a soldier expressing need for hygiene products because it is hard to find these products where they are at. How cool is that? We can do that!! God clearly has granted us this opportunity to provide for this need.
