My Avon story started when I found out that my second job was going to end with the closing of our local book store. I had worked in the book business for almost 10 years and it was devastating that our store was closing. I knew that being a part time Music Teacher was not going to cut it so I needed to start looking for something new. At the time, my best friend had been selling Avon and I thought maybe this is the time for me to get started. Because my mom had sold Avon before me, I already loved the products. I knew I would not be successful if I did not fully believe in what I was selling. After almost two years of selling, I know that this has been the best decision I could have made at the time. Avon allows me to have the kind of schedule that I need in order to teach. It has also brought some amazing people into my life that I would have never met had it not been for Avon. I am so thankful for how God has used this company to be a major support in my life. I can't believe that my $15 that I invested at the start has blossomed into such a beautiful business.
